MCT Oil
MCT’s (medium chain triglycerides) can promote the growth of healthy gut bacteria. They have natural antimicrobial qualities and so can suppress the growth of unwanted bacteria in the gut, such as E.coli, leaving more room for helpful bacterial species like lactobacillus or bifidobacterium, to flourish. That’s why, in line with our ethos to only use quality, health supporting actives in our products, we use MCT oil powder as a natural, beneficial flow agent to aid in our manufacturing process. You might see commonly used anti-caking agents such as magnesium stearate, maltodextrin or silicon dioxide on other supplement labels; you won’t ever see those in a Camino product.

CoenzymeQ10
CoQ10 is a much studied and well research antioxidant with known roles in energy production within our cells. It’s particularly concentrated in the mitochondria – often called our cellular ‘energy factories’.
Supplementing with CoQ10 has been shown to offer many benefits, including –
- protection against oxidative damage due to its powerful antioxidant qualities
- acting to support cognitive function and protect against neurodegenerative diseases by preserving mitochondrial function and reducing oxidative stress in brain cells
- helping to maintain youthful skin by supporting cellular energy production and reducing oxidative stress
- reducing energy and fatigue due to its direct action on supporting cellular energy production
Our CoQ10 is fermented for superior bioavailability. -
NAD+ precursor NR (nicotinamide riboside)
Nicotinamide riboside (NR) is a powerful NAD+ precursor. NAD+ is an essential molecule involved in energy production and cellular repair.
Many human studies have been done to support the use of NR as an effective agent to support NAD+ levels. In fact, NR is emerging as a leading NAD+ precursor candidate due to its bioavailability, safety, and strong ability to raise NAD+ content compared to other precursors.
Interest in NR is still growing due its role in sirtuin activation. Sirtuins are a family of proteins that regulate cellular health and longevity and depend on NAD+ to function properly.
NAD+ levels naturally decline as we age, and so supplementing is believed to offer protection against many of the mechanisms of ageing. -

Organic Spirulina
Organic Spirulina has an impressive nutrient profile and numerous health benefits. This blue-green algae is a powerful source of protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which can all help to support overall health.
One of the primary antioxidants found in spirulina is phycocyanin. Phycocyanin gives spirulina its rich blue green colour and has been extensively studied for its ability to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress through its action as an antioxidant.
Numerous studies have also shown that spirulina can bind to heavy metals, rendering them inactive and thereby supporting the body’s immune and detoxification systems.
Spirulina may also promote cardiovascular health by improving cholesterol levels and reducing blood pressure. -
Organic Chlorella
Organic Chlorella is another nutrient-dense algae known for its numerous health benefits. Rich in chlorophyll, protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, chlorella helps detoxify the body by binding to heavy metals and other toxins, aiding their elimination.
Some studies show that it supports the immune system and promotes cell regeneration. Chlorella may also be beneficial for gut health and digestion due to its fibre content, and it may help lower cholesterol and blood pressure, contributing to cardiovascular health. -
N-Acetyl L-Cysteine
Our hero ingredient, with powerful benefits for gut, brain and immune function. It works by increasing levels of the body’s master antioxidant, glutathione to support and protect the liver for improved detoxification capacity and immune function.
In the brain, it helps to regulate one of our most important neurotransmitters, glutamate, and may have a protective effect on the brain and memory function.
As well as helping the body to replenish its own antioxidant supply via glutathione synthesis, NAC is a strong antioxidant in its own right that has been shown to reduce oxidative damage. Given that oxidative damage is known to cause DNA damage and inflammation, NAC looks set to be a powerful agent on the path to better ageing.
To test its efficacy as a detoxification aid, try a double dose of our powder after a big night out or a stressful event! -
Inulin from Chicory Root
Inulin is a type of prebiotic fibre which can promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut.
-
Date Powder
We chose high fibre date powder to naturally sweeten our greens blend – but don’t worry, not too much! There’s only 2g of natural sugars per serving.
Using natural date powder instead of artificial sweetener or sugar also contributes extra prebiotic fibre for gut health, antioxidants plus essential minerals such as potassium, magnesium and iron. -
Ginger
Ginger has a long tradition of use in Western herbal medicine for its beneficial effects on the digestive system, and notably, can help to reduce IBS like symptoms including discomfort, gas and bloating.
Ginger supports digestion in several ways. It stimulates digestive juices to help you absorb nutrients from your food. And it has also been shown to help food to move through the digestive tract more efficiently which can be beneficial for constipation, heartburn and acid reflux symptoms.
As well as being helpful for digestion, ginger packs a powerful anti-inflammatory punch thanks to the presence of many active compounds that have been shown to work with immune cells to reduce inflammation! -
Lion's Mane Extract
Lion’s Mane is a medicinal mushroom renowned for its neuroprotective and immune supporting properties. Our Lion’s mane contains a potent concentration of active ingredients from the fruiting body.
Lion’s Mane is a standout ingredient when it comes to supporting the gut, brain and immune axis, benefiting this important system in several ways.
Some of the active compounds in this distinctive looking mushroom have been shown to stimulate (NGF) nerve growth factor production, which plays a key role in brain health and neuroplasticity. In addition, the polysaccharides in Lion’s Mane help to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the brain and have even been shown to act as prebiotics – feeding beneficial gut bacteria to support a healthy microbiome. From an immune support perspective, the polysaccharides in Lion’s Mane such as beta-glucans have been found to enhance the activity of immune cells.
Regular consumption of Lion’s Mane may help support focus, learning, and overall mental performance while also promoting a balanced mood and nervous system regulation. -
